My battery still at 12% I think the sudden battery drop was a sort of error ô.ô

musaD - not really surprised. battery indicator glitches can happen with upgrades. I would just let it discharge all the way then recharge fully or reboot the phone. if it is a common problem, there will probably be a minor update rolling out in a few weeks.

Funny also that before update, mine was on 83 then after, it was down to 26.

And funnier that the battery sticked to 2% almost half an hour, which I am still using to recover my apps on Google Play. What's happening in here?

Is there a real support for moving your apps to SD with this update?

that's horrible news geoffxx..

hopefully you can get a good replacement screen and it'll be good as new. with the waterproofing, personally, i would be hesitant to ever expose it to any real amount of water ever again, even after repairing it myself.

good luck with that.. shame you don't have insurance or something.

screen assembly ordered, the supplier has assured me it is a genuine OEM Sony Z1 LCD, cost was 140GBP - we shall see, I'll be returning it if it's not as good as my original, no teardown videos yet on the net but from what I've seen the Z1 looks easier to strip down than the Z even though it's 3 layer and Z is only two

Pity I didn't have some way to record the replacement process

Hi can anyone who has updates their Z1 to 4.3 confirm weather the video recording had a bump upto 60fps as this was mentioned randomuser a while back. I know Sony did'nt mention it in their press release they just said "performance updates and bug fixes".

Hey XperiaJunkie

Actually it was a case of a misunderstanding. A developer had posted in the 4.3 update thread on xda about 1080p@60 fps. It was only later he clarified that it was something he was working on and nothing to do with Sony official firmware.

So with this firmware video recording remains 1080p @ 30 fps as before.

1080p @ 60 fps is not expected to be added in 4.4 either.

TBH 60fps is not something I would want on my phone, 30fps is more than enough, it would double the size of recorded video files for little noticeable gain
