How do i get v live of my W810i

Master reset and card formatting didn't helped.

The BUG IS:
when playing song - at some time silence appears but playback goes on.
Switch to next track make walkman jump to next and next.
If to press Stop and then Play -- Walkman says -- "Cannot play file" (my SE interface language is russian, but the meaning is the same).

Reboot phone - playback works .... for 20-30 mins and then again.

I'm now testing NERO AAC encoder and CD-DA extractor (which has codecs from Coding Technologies, which developed aacPlus)

I've made tests whole day and find out next:
tracks encoded to AAC by iTunes 7.0 makes Walkman to loose its mind and stop working correctly.
The bugs appears after 10-25 min of playback.

AAC tracks encoded via Nero Digital Encoder and Coding Technologies codecs (ones with Easy CD-DA Extractor) played for hours without any problem.

If someone could do the same test to be sure, it'll be great.

I've had nothing but R4BD005 and don't not have the problem you described. I have two wired headsets (HPM-70, HPM-82) and two ones (Jabra JX10, SP500). All activate the "Handsfree" profile when connected, and revert to the prior profile when disconnected.

Check the Accessories list in the Handsfree profile on your phone. One of the entries should be "Portable h-free," which refers to the wired headsets.

wanna know if in this version(R4EA031) , the ringtone volume was increased,


cause i notaced that in w800i/k750i the max volume of the ringtone is two times more then the media player one , in w810i it's the same

well it doesn't look like i could see my software version...i tried the menu>settings>general but there is no update service. does that mean that the phone is locked or something? i didn't know suncom locks phones...let me know if anyone has any info on this. thanks!

Here's a bug that I find with R4DB005 (UK Orange branded),
- don't think I've read about it elsewhere (so is it just me ?):

Playing an .M4A music file, if I pause the music then re-start it, sometimes the stereo image seems to go off to one side. It keeps playing, just sounds really weird. Pausing it again sometimes fixes it.

Anyone else get this ?

Upgraded to R4EA031 yesterday. Battery cover was stuck, so couldn't take out the sim before update Went ahead, upgraded without any faults. Post update, haven't really noticed any flaws from previous version R4CK003. Still haven't really found bout the longer batt life. High volumes in the Walkman r still sufficiently high to make me listen at 'bout 50% volume for majority songs. Will try out the AAC incompatibility thingy. Walkman is not skipping any songs, till now (3-4 hrs' use). SO far, So good

Oh, n yes, had prob with auto-switching from normal to handsfree on plugging HPM 70 as mentioned by kenjibatusai on 2006-10-13, restarted the phone once, n voila! it wass back to as it should be )
