Thanks Jack for your advice.Checked out the N73 and its main feature is the 3.2mp camera which as far as I can see is getting rave reviews.I should be wanting the N91 because Im a avid music lover but for some obscure reason I cant think of anything other than the P990.Got two weeks to decide.Think I'll research the N-series one more time but I think in vain.Pretty much have made up my mind.
N91 isnt a very good phone.

For a near 550$ phone, nokia should have given QVGA screen.

Hi I bought N91 a month ago it was awesome.
but now I am in serious trouble when i try to connect the phone in "Mass Storage" Mode it display a warning "Unable to connect because the Hard Drive is in Use by another application".
When I tried to format the Drive using default Hard Drive Manager it displyed "Hard Disk not available", it correctly showed the drive info but refused to format.
I closed all apps, restarted the phone several times, used Application Managers, Formated(Hard/Soft) the phone memory but no luck.
My phone has latest firmware ver 2.10.013.
Now I dont have any other option left to format the Hard Disk.....!
Is there any 3rd party app that can format or some "CODE" (like *#7370#
for the phone memory) or any other solution you suggest?
Thanks.

Hi all and especially fellow N93 users,
I found this early today it appears a new firmware is going to be avaliable soon below are the specs for the improvements. It is apparently already available @ Nokia Service Centres and should appear on the NUS in the next couple of days. Let just hope it is available quicker than the last announced update that took over a month to actually appear.
Changes/improvements made from MCU SW 11.0.034 to version 20.0.058:
- CellMo baseline update
- Improvements to Auto power off, reset cases
- Gallery/Camera primary use improved
- Initialization/startup time, improved to 2 ~ 3 sec
- Shot-2-shot time, 2.17 Sec
- Optical Zoom noise reduction algorithm updated to vary according to
background noise level.
- Stability/Reliability improvements added.
- Product mode, UI jerkiness improvements
- UI jerkiness corrections included for Camera, Gallery and RealOne
player
- A few Applications fixed for mode switch errors
- Bluetooth headset IOP/Audio improvement seen in BH-900, BH-800 fixed :
- Bluetooth SAP profile errors corrected so that N616 works.
- Improvements and changes to applications:
- Application changes:
- Internet Folder added in position 9 on main menu, containing
- Web (OSS Browser) , moved Office folder in 11.0.034
- Search
- Download! (contains Catalogs)
- WLAN Wizard

- Clock is moved from top level menu to My Own folder, position 1.
- Home network application in Connectivity folder is updated to include
setup wizard option to make it easier to configure UPnP.
- Access Point Configurator (APC) is replaced by Startup Settings Ver 1.
No visible change changes for end user.
- QuickOffice version is updated – allows end-users can buy a license for
editors and activate them in their device if they so wish.
- Optical zoom reset by still/video capture mode switch: Zoom level is reset
to 1.0x at capture mode change for smooth transition.
- Cover UI to not lit backlight as music clip change: Disabling backlight at
music clip change to save battery power.
- Support for Display Headset HS-69 is added.
- Max no of Sent SMSs saved : change the maximum number of SMSs
saved in "Sent" folder to 100. (for PRC variant only)
- Camera mode switching: Modes spec updated so that when changing from
imaging mode to any other mode with camera still active the UI returns to
idle screen rather than activate the sub-camera.
- UMTS in Network mode selection: UMTS is selectable in the UI for Network
mode selection. Tools/Settings/Network mode/ Dual, GSM, UMTS. (not in
PRC variant)
- PRC Default Boot Up Language: Default UI Language at 1st boot up is
Simplified Chinese (not Automatic).
- In line with July 1, 2006, GSMA (GSM Association) mandate A5/2 ciphering
is no longer supported by default.
-Also I heard that the bug that made the N93 unable to press to buttons has been corrected....it seems.
-Also rumors of FOTA being or will be enabled on N93?

i just bought an N91 about 2 weeks ago for my K750i replacement.
at first, i really love the phone for it's kinda unique for me with all the hard drive, etc.
But after some time, the operating system gets very slow. my K750i works much faster!
it always hangs and i have to restart it.
it also says 'file corrupted' everytime I delete a file although after I restarted the phone, the file magically disappears.
how magical! hehehe...
the N91 2mpix camera is very bad! I could rate it a 3 out of 10 although it does seldom takes good pictures outdoors. very bad pic quality indoors.
ohh my!!!!
i'm now REGRETING why I bought this phone.
in the first place, I was considering the K800i in my purchase decision but i still went towards the N91.
Sony Ericsson (for me) is still the best towards mobile photography.
