i might swap my psp for your k850i...its a normal one though...

i didnt even join blackberrys owners thing, desided that crackberry was enough for me and didnt want to confuse myself!

scott get a curve you know full qwerty sounds nice what i did was flick though ebay and watch a few items your interesed in, this will give you an idea of price you should be paying on ebay. id say go for an o2 locked device, which will be cheaper. unlocked ones go for silly money sometimes on ebay. i was watching a few 8800's an unlocked ones where going for 130/140 where as locked ones where anynthing from 75-100.

Put the PIN in the PIN Field.

Alternatively add by email address however, you cant then send PIN to PIN message - which are like emails

If you don't have the persons PIN yet ... just type in a memopad or email compose field the word "mypin" (no spaces) and press space bar AFTER and voila your PIN is listed. Copy & paste and add here.

after reading more and more on the 8120 I really do fancy one, so going to keep my eye on the bay' for one what sorta price should I be looking at? Bear in mind I want a new or as new one unlocked or on O2. Not selling yours are you reggie? Hehe.

I guess adding BB on my tariff will just be a case of ringing O2 and asking them to add it on aye?

Thanks

Good show Scott.

Some advice solid BES experienced & user Troubleshooting advice.

* Shortcuts that are common on qwerty BB's are going to be different on the 8120.
* VM pw. You can setup your BB to have this - much differently than saving it as a contact with the "p" for pause and then the access # after it like many on the SE phones have to do. I suggest that you set this up FIRST before looking for themes and such. The letters on any BB or qwerty phone are different that standard cellphones/payphones/etc. If you're like me that associates pw's with words you're going to be in trouble trying to access your voicemail if you don't follow this subtle advice.

Many full QWERTY individual BB keyboard users (7200/8800/8300 series users) CANNOT and prefer not to goto the Suretype devices. Its backwards thinking to them, thats why Burgaz is suggesting to goto the 8320; which btw Fatreg IS already released by Tmobile USA months ago - unsure about Tmobile Germany/UK though.

I've owned the 8100 Pearl for 4-5mths roughly and my first week I was hellow slow with typing SMS let alone emails. However I got VERY quick even quicker than some ppl on the 8300 because I customized certain names (surnames of colleagues especially), words, phrases in the Custom Word List (in Options> Custom Word List) of my Pearl before going ballistic.

Some caution, which will be solved with the next OS update coming soon - Spellcheck the full check. Some 4 letter names "may" come out wrong and you may not notice it. Be careful especially if its your BOSS' name you're addressing in an email.

Lastly, Scott. Learn the Pearl shortcuts for paging down/up instead of endlessly scrolling through posts like this one

PS: someone requested information regarding Mapping applications.
Take a look at the thread on this site.

PS Mark Rehjon has posted MANY MANY helpful tips & information regarding BB's that LED BB's to what they are now! I I've seen the correlation between his posts, replys' and device & network progression - including Rogers Wireless (notorious for being greedy) in offering a more swallowable (not acceptable, but comfortable) data rates for BB's. This is how mountains CAN be moved!

what you have to do is stroke it slowly all over and introduce it to mrs mac, and they will slowly in time grow a bond together...
