Right, so the screen seems better to some... Think i'll have to test for myself and make my own decision!
Royal Mail have now pulled their finger out and tried to deliver mine at home but unfortunately no one was in so its gone the the local sorting office... First stop in the morning before work will be Streatham sorting office!!!
If only it was open into the night!!!
I'll be back on tomorrow with a new avatar!!!

Ok just called O2 again and I've been quoted £39.99 on my exsiting £30 per month tariff. Maybe if I do call back in the morning and speak to someone else I'll get it down to 20 quid??

I haven't seen it mentioned, and a quick search revealed very little, so just in case anyone missed it (as I did until just now)...
TrackID is on the P1i!
its buried in the sound recorder which can be found in the Entertainment menu
I saw that the very first day, when I recorded a sound so that I could increase my GPS sound level.

Ummmmm, why?!?!!

O2 seem to to have completely lost the plot... a quick recap:
- ordered on Saturday, whilst the phone was 'in stock' on the website and delivery planned for Tuesday
- got a mail on Monday - the order has been passed on to the warehouse
- phoned to ask for an update on my order - no further news, but everything still as scheduled
- got an email saying - sorry out of stock with unspecified delay, had a look online and the phone is still 'in stock' in the web store
- phoned again, hmmm strange everything is in stock, we'll re-send the order for you - everything is OK and it will be dispatched today
- phoned yet again, since no emails: phone is being prepared for dispatch, just wait for the email with the DHL tracking number
- got exactly the same email as this afternoon: sorry out of stock
- phoned again, this time they really haven't got a clue anymore: it's in stock - no it's not - can we call you back tomorrow
To cut a long story short: I told them if this is how they treat new customers I dread to think how they'll treat me as an existing customer.... so told them to stuff it and cancel the order (I can wait... I think.... )
Called my existing provider Orange again, but they couldn't even tell me IF Orange are going to do the P1i, let alone when... back to the drawing board it is.... suggestions anyone?

Direct Push Mail
Can P1i use free Direct Push Mail, Mail2Web, to receive emails if I forward my emails from Gmail.
Thanks,
Scott

I still don't fully understand how the P1i's/M600i's standby application works. The thing I'm used to on WM and S60 is that I see the appointments of today (subject and time) and/or the upcoming ones on the standby screen. Is this also the case with the P1i/M600i or does it only show "Calendar (3)" instead of "9.00 - 10.30 Meeting with ..."? And if it's (sadly) like this... is it possible to put for instance Handy Day or AquaCalendar as standy application?

initially you see the count of items as you describebut if it is not zero then you get a + to expand and view the items which you can then click to view the details.
btw I now take back my previous statement regarding outdoor visibility. now that I have put the same theme on both and the sun is really shining I can definitly see the P1 screen better and crisper and actually the m600 seems a bit washed out.
