sory guys wanna ask something
i just try screen shoter on my phone, just wanna know how i change the snap key to A or B button on K810, since i used to hence play button to start mp3...and what code i need to change in .ini file?

hello there,finally i am into patching my K800
well the help of you buddies and tutorials provided by theshadow03 were detailed enough and i succeeded to patch my phone,it was K800 R1KG001 and now it is K800 R8bf003 , i think i'm gonna flash it to K810 cuz more useful patches are written for K810.

anyways,just wanted to report a bug in "remind_missed_call_with_vibration_and_melody_fixed_k800.vkp" patch...when you apply this patch,as a message arrives,no more you have the message icon next to the signal icon.it is never seen again unless you unpatch...

Ok i started installing the radio without headset patch using setool2 lite and its been on "vkp script executed ok" for quite a while now. It also says "Writing..." underneath it. When it said the VKP script executed ok i heard a usb disconnect sound. Is it mean to take long or did something go wrong. I havent disconnected yet.

EDIT: I was brave and pressed stop then pulled out the usb. My phone is in great working condition and the radio patch is installed. I dont know what happend.

I've tried patching my K810 once with setools v1.11 but it stopped with something like "NOR flashing not allowed" or something... Now I want to try again. My phone has R8BA024 CID 52 GENERIC firmware and is a RED one. You say I need a generic firmware to start... Does it matter that my phone has a generic one but it is a localized (MEDITERR)?
Can I use the R8BA024 GENERIC MEDITERR as MAIN and apply quick access patch for a beginning?
Or all these patches are for GENERIC ENGLISH firmware?
If yes, and because I don't want to miss my Greek language, what else can I do? Can I flash with GENERIC ENGLISH as MAIN + quick access, then apply the patches, and then finally apply the MEDITERR FS over all these so I can revert my phone to Greek?
Thank you all and sorry for asking but it was NOWHERE clear what GENERIC means, and if a GENERIC localized firmware is OK to accept those .vkp patches...

I successfully applied my first patch!!! The MESITERR localization doesn't matter!! I used the quick access .vkp via the qamaker of the MAIN GENERIC and after that I applied the "remove_voice_recorder_beepv2.vkp" with the quick access option! I tested it and I can record the call without the other part hearing ANY beeps!!!!
The next patch (and last maybe) I'm going to apply is the one that locks the keyboard, the file menu, the sms menu etc. with password. But I'm a little afraid since I found 3 versions of the above patch: English, German & French... Maybe this patch is affected by the localization of the firmware??? Maybe I need to find a Greek version? Maybe I kill my phone???

I finally tried the English version of Confidentiality patch and it worked like a charm BUT: After I opened the .vkp file in Notepad and resaved it as ANSI...
You see the one I had downloaded was saved as Unicode and didn't work: SeTool reported something like NOR Flash not allowed...
Resaving the file as ANSI reduced its file size from 35bytes to 18... and everything worked OK and I'm very happy!!!!
