cheers Ares, didnt have a chance to check myself.

thats the deal breaker for me, was expecting to have to wait for the updated client to be released, but looks like SE have pulled their finger out!

means I can get it as soon as I want rather then once the BB client is released, excellent!

@Mizzle

Is it the same version as the upgrade (4.0.237) ?

Are you able to open txt files from the file manager ?

It's version 4.0.256 here on G900.

And yes, no problems opening documents directly from the file manager.

@cybertim81

I've have a K750i and a W880i and I find them both very bad for dust. Under the screen cover, but over the LCD. It's quite distracting and annoying.

I've read somewhere that someone took a can of pressurized air (like what you'd use for a camera) and blew away the dust. I haven't tried that, but I may.

Otherwise, the only way that I have found to get that out is to physically dismantle the phone and clean the screens with a proper cloth.

I really want the g900, I think it's a sweet phone. However, I don't want to have to think that I'd have to dismantle that one too, in order to get that dust out of there.

Maybe a customized screen protector is the answer. I don't know.
