I really wish that future updates would remove those light horizontal lines on Elm/Hazel when taking lowlight shots. I've updated mine from R7BA076 to R7BA081, but still it produces some of those lines.

How did you update yours? Im from PH too, when I use SEUS it sez "you already have the latest software for this phone".
Am I stuck with R7BA076?

What are the improvements on R7BA081?

@groovepeppy

what is cda? sorry I'm still new to sony ericsson phones, first time having one, made the jump from nokia to when I lost my 4 year old nokia just recently

@xclbr

I just updated mine using SEUS, and after updating the firmware was R7BA081, do you also have Hazel? or Elm? mine is Hazel, not sure but maybe both have different latest software. I didn't notice much change, same apps/function but I think when accessing media the phone is a bit less laggy compared to the older firmware, anyway have not experienced any bugs so far.

I can relate to you man, my 3 year old nokia 6300 was snatched inside LRT premises, after that I bought Elm. That explains, maybe Elm has no recent updates in our region except for Hazel.

I hope they will improve the TTFF of Elm's GPS in a future update, it tends to be really, very long at times...

My experience with the Elm:

No more photos from me as the Elm has gone in Singapore and Indonesia.

PS: I really notice that band of colors that ruins the beauty of the image. Hope it'll fixed on an update or a mod.

Band of colors? Do you mean those blueish horizontal lines that appear clearly in low-light photos?
