What functions are missing that you need?
Oh all sorts. One thing which did stick out for me though was when in the review Steve Litchfield did for his video podcast was when he tried to click on certain things like videos or mp3 files and the phone said it couldnt play them through the browser even though the phone supports those file types.
WP8 and the 920 is gorgeous, im tempted next year to buy one when my new job starts paying out, but it still reminds me of iOS too much for me to use one day to day. Too many silly limitations.
Bring back Symbian !!
You listed just one thing. And I haven't came across yet. Maybe you can give me some pages to try play some mp3 and video files from. But so far, the ones I tried to play did work.
And this can't be a deal breaker.
What else is missing? Give me a list.

Heh, no. Whats missing is important to me. Im not going to start listing specs just to ease your insecurities about choosing the phone and its unpopular OS. WP is still way behind Symbian which is still my favourite OS out there even today.. even though ive been using a SGS3 since 30th May.
Put it this way, if i were choosing between an iPhone 5 or a 920 - i'd choose the 920.
I want WP to do well, id love to see iOS lose MASSIVE market share because of it. Android and WP8 might not be totally finished products but they're the best solution to making a pretty 2012 OS which can perform some of Symbians functions if not all.

list.
•No FM radio
•No system-wide file manager
•No lockscreen shortcuts
from a current Nokia smartphone owner:
No HDMI out
No FM tramsitter
No FM receiver
No Stand By clock (on at all times when the phone is locked)
No separate volume for phone calls/music player
No USB on the GO
No side loading for applications
No DivX/Xvid/mkv native player
No native Google Maps client
Inferior Nokia Maps (will get better I guess)
Inferior battery life
Inferior Multitasking (basically non existent compared to Symbian)
From a Nokia 808 user
Inferior camera in the following cateogries:
Photograhy:
- low light
- low light with flash
- day light
- zooming
- overall image quality (huge difference)
Videography:
- sound recording (100 kbps mono vs. 256kbps stereo)
- no zoom during video recording.
Inferior camera UI for both video and stills.
Inferior sound reproduction trough AUX/Headphones
All of that is really hard to give up for a prettier UX, some pointless apps/games, better keyboard, and better e-mail integration.
The only real advantage the 920 has over the 808 is a better screen and OIS ... I really don't see anything else. Despite that.. I am still buying one
Just because I think Nokia needs the support.

Oh you wouldnt believe how much i miss my N8's FM transmitter, even today driving home would have liked it on my SGS3.
Even though i still have my N8, it doesnt come with me everywhere like my SGS3.

Took a lot of photos today, here are some samples

I'm, really impressed, it's fast and takes good pics. The flash is bright and auto mode often works fine.
I dropped it on the pavement today as well, some minor marks, feels really durable!
