@Lemmy31:
Look at Richard Dormans Flickr, to see, what the 1020 can do in the hands of the right person:

Thanks Marly.......absolutely stunning photos. It just makes the wait for the 1020 even harder !!
@mlife, nothing wrong with Katy Perry, apart from her music, videos and choice of husbands

I guess the 1020 isn't doing so well as far as sales.... AT&T started out at 299.USD but now dropped the price by a hundred bucks...
.... And whats up with this AD that keeps popping up on my screen???
... Have they already forgotten about the 808?

It appears that the USA isn't the best market for WP8 at present whereas here in the UK it seems to be doing quite well, along with the rest of Europe

Nobody could forget The 808, especially those of us that have owned one, its the best camera phone to date.
It has a great family tree though from the 7650, 7610 through to the N series and up to the N97 where it all seemed to fall apart.........they were exciting days for mobile phones and Nokia were at the forefront throughout.
But alas it is time to move on
I think and im sure in the future the 1020 will be looked back on as a camera phone classic.
God forbid the Nokia(Newkia)name is ever resurrected to produce Android handsets

I don't think, they've already forgotten the 808, but, seeing the AT&T branding, that particular ad is aimed at US consumers, most of which have never heard of the 808, as none of the US carriers have been selling it.
Only a few "phone-geeks" knew about its existence and have ordered it from Amazon, Negri, or some other online shop. The "normal" US consumer has never even seen an 808, because it's never been sold in highstreet shops, only online, and it's the same situation in several other countries, i.e. the UK and the Netherlands.

The images taken are really great, but the quality exhibits the same traits 1020 has been criticized for.
