I flashed mine both at the same time. It installed the firmware first then the language file, very smooth, no probs

Ok,
I go something new. After ugrading to K700_R2AA003_RE29, I can't use FMA(float mobile) anymore. It says communication error. After downgrading to R2L001 I can use FMA again. Anybody else noticed??

Not true.
Ik have an ERt28 datacable. The quy who sold me this cable said it was not a service cable. However I managed to debrand my k700i with it(battery trick). Now I tried to use the cable with FMA(float moble). It worked. I can sent mp3 ringtones, themes and games to my phone

I got my T28 cable today and just flashed my K700i. It worked first time flawlessly, and I now have an unbranded (from O2) phone with R2AA firmware
I won't be too bothered about not being able to update throught the official site IF updates using the total server software remain free. I hope they do.
Many thanks to everyone who has helped me in this thread, and thanks to the Total Server team for the great software!

Help.. Got my cable 2day from face off.
I run Total and either just get the message when i turn the phone on when prompted :
Charging and than the phone constantly swiches on and off,
or take the battery out and get message insert sim when i turn back on.
Tried it on another PC and get the same can anyone help me on this one ?
