When your at crop screen...
Hold the edge of the box for a second or two and you will have arrows which allow you to make the box bigger...
Advice would be to put the box in the middle till you get the MAX size and then move the box to the area you want to keep...
Hope that is little clearer...

Yea I noticed that too...
Maybe the X10 sets the resolution itself... Not sure about that...

The box is keeping the proportions depending on what you will use the picture for.

@alexho
I would definitely use some of the recs here to check the price for spares for several reasons:- 1, Orange will almost certainly want you to re-brand their phone.. I only just got them to accept to cover my old C905 that had come from CPW after several emails, as they knew it wouldn't be running their FW; 2, I am pretty sure that each time you claim your "points" toward your next upgrade, how soon and how cheap go down, making it more expensive/longer to wait before you can upgrade again; lastly they may charge around £15 excess for such claims..You may find the spare cheaper.
Secondly I got the noreve case I've been ogling today and it's amazing..Here's an excerpt from my post in the Accessories thread about films, cases and protection:
The only real potential down-side as far as I can see is price as it's not cheap, for UK users Mobile Fun were easily the cheapest I found:
ericsson-xperia-x10-p24129.htm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow]http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/no[....]ericsson-xperia-x10-p24129.htm
Their price of £30.97 + £2.50 postage is less than the manufacturers themselves quote, and using MFCLOTH4 I gota Microfibre cleaning cloth allegedly worth £3.50 albeit advertising their website, so that off-set the postage. Also I only weakened and ordered at about 1 a.m. yesterday and it arrived at 11 this morning...
The case definitley comes highly recommended, especially for ham fisted folk like me whose idea of hell is fiddling with the fitment of screen protectors etc..

@anders - why does it matter?

i use twicca and it does everything i need it to do. even has built in integration for twitpic...
not sure an app from twitter would do anything better to be honest...
