Yes. Sony Semiconductor turn the XZ2P mono cmos into color version with some performance improvement. It support 90fps 4k 10-bit, 240fps 2k 10-bit, better DR. So it can produce a photo that at least as good as XZ2P. However, it don't have PDAF. It already get into mass production phase and shipped to some manufacturer.
Again, as the xperia representative said, XZ2P is a technology show-off/ tester. Everything now seems like they are just testing the water and preparing for next big thing. Right now, I think they are buying time for IFA and MWC 2019. Just like AMD, keep releasing refresh version of their old CPU, than they pull out Ryzen from their pocket. Boom, everything now changed. Hope SONY can also do it.
As they had already targeted to 5G, they will not care about the sales numbers and the profit.

Guys I got some new info on the new dual cam. XR4-5
the new dual sensor CAN DO 2000 fps @ full HD or 1000 fps @ 4K!! However they may only opt for the 1st option for various reasons. Both sensors have their own DRAM and couple this with the fusion chip and and Sony have the most advanced camera hardware ever fitted to a mobile device.

This from a post back in April.
Seems even more plausible now I suppose.

Ryzen is one biggest attempt of making comeback in this decade I guess, but apparently it took them 4 years to make a stretch. The similar strategy is very likely make implemented into Radeon as recently rumor said AMD is working on new graphic architecture design exclusively to the next gen of Sony PlayStation, but those strategy come at loss of their one highest talent of graphic chip designer which decided make switch to directly competitor, devastated trade off.

So is the Akatsuki around 6 inches? Give us some hints about its size.

So Spektykles, if there is only only one flagship coming - does that mean that there is no special anniversary device? Or that the flagship IS the anniversary device (and we should therefore expect it to be more than just a minor upgrade/refresh of the XZ2)?

I am still confused..
Are they making a rgb version of the sensor or giving up on B/W and shipping the phone with two RGB?

That I wonder too. I don't want to buy XZ2 Premium and end up trying to sell it. If a new device with a larger display is around the corner I would like to wait for that. Interestingly my old Xperia C3 is still holding up.
