@mamba: tnks. im using my mtn line 2 make these posts. I've been 2 sonyericsson.com, but d settings i received r 'mtn wap' & 'mtn mms'. I couldn't get 'mtn gprs'. I think ambyz once said it would grant me full web access on my fone & downloads. Moreover i keep gettin xcesiv time out msgs on those settings. What do u think?

In my phone, the only difference between MTN WAP n MTN GPRS is that the GPRS profile has 000.000.etc all zeroes as its ip address. They shared the same data account. So create one!

@johnbendi, i still dont see anything wrong with your settings & i think you really dont need additional settings cos the one you got from sonyericsson is probably most suitable. there could be network problems at your location or conjestions which will definitely cause timeouts..
