Hi all,
new here but did not see this mentioned anywhere so I'm asking.
I'm running a w800i with latest firmware (from december) and I wonder if anybody noticed that bug that it will always confirm if I want applications send to the internet.
I know there is a setting that says "no" -> "ask" -> "ask once" that would probably change that behaviour but it's already set to "ask once" and still asking me all the time.
This appears to be happning with all my applications I have installed on the phone, which I want to connect to the internet.
Anybody found a remedy? I wonder why nobody else seem to have this problem when a friend of mine has the exact problem - and he's actually the only other one I know with that phone
Thanks,
Tom

Hi everyone,
I've read most of the forum but noone seems to have noticed a bug I found in the new R1AA008 on my K750.
The alarm clock plays only a few seconds of the tune and goes quiet but is still flashing the screen. A restart cures it, but later it randomly happens again. I almost overslept to work once... annoying...
Anyone had it?
I've had the same thing happen to me.
Another thing I have found is if I have a person with an assigned picture and ringtone call me, the screen goes the color of the theme background, for a few seconds, before I can see who it is calling.

the solution is to put your own java certificate into the phone, then sign your midlets with that certificate and install them into phone.

That's odd - the Poland thing. Here in the UK if you put your phone on silent mode the shutter sound is disabled so you can take silent photos.

That's odd. I used the UK version of R1AA008 firmware when I upgraded, and I don't appear to have a "silent shutter" mode.
Perhaps that differentiation is not in the firmware, but instead in the hardware. I wonder how many different variants of hardware configs there are out there???
Strange...

Anyone notice an R1AA008 anomilie? It's this: The little battery icon shows about 1 pixel less than full charge, but if I go Settings > Phone Setting > Phone Status, it shows 75% left. Not consistant between the two.
I'm not sure about this, but I believe this is the breakdown of the battery indicator (about 12.5% per battery icon state):
87/88-100% (full bar - green)
75-87/88%
62/63-74%
50-62% (half bar - green)
37/38-49% (orange)
25-37% (orange)
13-24% (red)
1%-12% (red, almost empty)
Thanks for posting that. I was unaware of the connection there. Considering the other issues, I doubt I'll worry about this one.
I seem to recall hearing some crackling when I received a call the other day (after upgrading to R1AA008) but I'm not sure if it was there before and I didn't notice it, it's new, or if I just think it's there because I'm expecting it after reading this thread...
Anyway, the bugs are minor, overall...

The Silent Shutter varys on handsets, In some countrys it is ilegal to have the camera and not make a noise on a phone. Hence not being able to turn off the shutter sound when in silent mode.
My shutter is silent when in silent mode (UK unbranded virgin mobile).
Using Davinci you can enable or disable the sound when in silent mode but it will cost you
Hope that helps you all.

Hi all
Is there any news on the NEXT firmware i.e. one after R1AA008 as it has been nearly 2 months since the last update?

I upgraded mine yesterday, but I had to remove the previous SEUS installation on my notebook after it encountered an error updating itself.
I re-installed the client from SE support site and everything was perfect thereafter.
So far there is nothing I can complain about. This was a big change after my phone was screwed the first time I used SEUS 2.
