i did a restart on my phone .. .startup with 16.3M

With the slight annoyance of some P990i owners on older firmwares, and those just craving for more when more apps come around ... I'm getting the feeling that SE should've dropped 128MB of ROM/RAM in the phone for users to run more simultaneous actions. Still I'm confident firmware updates will resolve this.
NOTE to SE: Get RID of Opera based in the firmware, and work CLOSELY with them to update a more efficient version, along with Access NetFront browser, PLEASE!
@Masseur, I think the free memory disparity between the m600 & P990i is because of the system calls between the WiFi on the P990i and lack of it on the M600; just a guess.

I'm also sorry to hear about the firmware update issues that people are having and I wish I had some input but it just went as normal for me

That is probably because all phones that are already out has already sold off. I got mine 10 days ago.
