Same here! There is a gap waiting to be filled.
Even if they just slimmed down the W900i, added
3.0 and A2DP.... not a bad machine.

Is it still the most believed rumour that the swizel phones won't be coming back? I was just beginning to warm to the idea of a swivel when it appeared somewhere in this forum that swivels are dead. I think Sofia in a swivel form factor would be a great seller. The S700 was a good design, but for me the W900 design wasn't up to scratch looks wise. For swivels the look has to spot on, the swivel idea itself is quite swish so putting a ugly case on a swish concept kind of defeats the object. Maybe
are struggling with making a hot design for the swivel so have given up.

i'm pretty darn sure there will be another swivel phone, the SE website includes it as a form factor on the product page so they cant just leave the W900 as the only one.
but will it be walkman or cybershot??? The S700 was the first 1.3Mp phone from SE, and the W900 was the flagship 3g walkman phone....
the new slide is a slim phone so the swivel will hopefull be like 2 W880's in size with a bigger screen (drooling at the thought)
i guess we'll just have to wait and see!
(PS. If one of you talented photoshopper's could make a swivel W880 with big screen so we can see what it 'could' look like...)
