@buntoo
Thanks! I just needed a complete flash that cleansed everything! And i think i'm on e of the happy ones that don't have the poor battery problem. So i'm pretty happy now.
The only thing i wish for now is some improvement with the camera- Better overal quality and easier to get sharper shots whitout having to hold the cam absolutely still.

My phone hasn't rebooted once since I updated, I haven't done a master reset after updating, maybe that is why? If this is the case then I would advise anybody who is yet to update, not to perform a master reset after they have installed the new firmware.

I did not make a master reset, and my phone rebooted 2 times. (The first just after the firmware upgrade and the second the next day).

No, it didn't, I just hoped it would. It's the only thing I miss on this phone...
But I had it on my k800, so I was hoping it would work with the new firmware.

Battery seems ok on mine too, had only 2 reboots and no master reset, did everyone else get the loading bar go across the screen as I did when I had the 1st reboot straight after the upgrade ?

battery life R1EA031 is worst than R1CA037 & and the battery indicator looks always full even when the battery goes down...on a plus side at least the battery charge to 100%....!

Yes the battery indicator was a bug on 038 , as much as 25/30% out of sync and just checked mine and its still out of sync in the new firmware.
