See
PDAdb's comparison. Compared to the Kaiser (TyTN II), the Venus (X1) is smaller, lighter, has more RAM, faster processor, a transflective screen (important when used outdoors in bright sunlight) with higher resolution, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, FM radio, stronger battery, and is probably much, much better when playing multimedia.
I agree, but the point is it's a year younger. The above merely reads like a list of improvements HTC (or SE) might have decided the Tytn II needed a year ago (and much of it is shared by the Touch Pro, HTC's own in-house answer to the same question of how to improve the Tytn II).
On a completely separate note, I wouldn't ever use pdadb.net as a source for anything, I've read a lot of WM comparisons posted from that site and they almost always contain a few glaring errors and omissions. In this case, I'm pretty sure the Tytn II also has the same Bluetooth support with EDR - it's running the exact same OS (with the 6.1 upgrade) and pretty much the same chipset after all. It certainly has HSUPA, which Pdadb also only credits to the X1.

Just recieved an email from mobile fun to update on my order.
They have the same delays as Expansys now, and it looks like Clove are the same, all are saying delays until the last week of October.

Hi
if any1 knows, is there enough room under the battery or under the battery cover or anywhere in the phone to place an extra micro sd card?
Thanks

storage and ram are completely different. you can't 'store' anything in ram so having 400mb or even 1gb storage prebuilt is irrelevant!
killmaster are you sure they are retail units as to get only 2 units for sale is a little odd?! seems the confusion isn;t going to end till retail date!
You can not store in RAM, Ramdom Access Memory is Volatile. When you turned off it's gone.
RAM is the "working" memory where programs run.
do you actually read before you post?
Sorry Tregba,
I didn't mean to reply your post but other post that was claiming storage on ram (I guess it was Max)
in other words, don't you read before you post?
No one ever stated that RAM can be used for storage NOW. I was referring to the old PPC days where RAM
WAS used as storage.. Tregba and I had already come to an understanding about exactly what I had said, which you would know if you had read the thread my friend. Hence Tregba asked if you had read before you posted.
Not that I have any hard feelings, just pointing out the facts

Warning to fellow males,
never use the 850Mhz whilst handsfree unless your lower extremities are encased in lead or iron.

Probably realizing they've forgot the extra 128mb of ram
