anyone know whats the deal with Sony and their small apps support? Its such a good idea and it seems like they don't even bother to make any official one anymore. They should work with google to make hangout small apps compatible. Samsung multi screen support keeps getting updated with new apps support while Sony don't even care.

I have Z1 from HK and there was no change to SA resolution unless it's selectable in which case I can't try as the top 3rd of my touch screen is dead so I can't select setting in camera

HaHa, kind of funny how they used a picture of the ZL instead of the Z1 and got the megapixels wrong.

well guys my research is finished, all of the guides I've seen so far on the web fall short of the meaty parts of replacing the Z1 screen, there is a critical part that is so far unpublished involving the parting of the alloy frame with all the controls and buttons from the inner frame that houses the screen, the tricky part is being able to remove the alloy chassis with the headphone volume power camera keys and the flex circuits that attach them all without damage - it will be a challenge, perhaps I can borrow a camera and try and record the procedure which I have yet to see anywhere on the net, the Z1 has 6 layers that are all bonded together the easy part is getting down to the last 2 layers - screen on the front and a sub frame that it mounts to

It will be four weeks before I have all the bits - I'm sort of looking forward to the challenge as I have no choice, my only hope is that the screen I have bought is as good as the one I have - I guess no reason it shouldn't be.....maybe better JDC lol

Was watching the vergecast and joshua topolosky just got himself a Z1, unlocked the C6906, and he is actually quite surprised by it and is really impressed with the camera, and mentioned it is actually better than the iphone camera and much easier to use than the lumia 1020 camera.

He did mention some of the skin is a bit odd in some places but generally likes it.

Anyone know when Sony will be releasing the skin creater app?
