Hi Everyone,
Firstly, congratulations to all you P990i owners out there!
Just would like to trouble those of you who have the phone already, is it possible to make a recording of the fm radio broadcast? Also if possible to record fm radio, is the recording in wav or mp3 format or some other format?
Thanks so much in advance & hope to hear a reply from you lucky p990i owners
Regards,
Tiger Lee

Haven't found a way to record anything exept from the mic directly (not from radio or call), so i guess you can't.

Just got my p990i from a store in Tsim Tsha Tsui (or something like that) in Hong Kong. I was quoted about $9000 HK dollars (which is close to $1150 US). I got it eventually for $6900 HK (about 880$ US).
Being charged right now.

joel80,
How long does it take on your unit to start the webbrowser? On mine it only takes around 7 seconds from when I press the menu option till the loading progress bar appears (wifi/3g is at that point connecting in the background).
I've only been able to stream realaudio from bbc radio1, having problems with the nasa tv realmedia stream.

ok tommorrow im gonna order a p990 from expansys, i love the m600 but wifi and camera cant live without neither, and the screen is smaller than p990.
i love my buggy pxxx phones, with all the features and i hope this time it will be a bit better.
only thing i dont want is the expansys 18 month contract but i guess its the only way not to pay silly money for the phone.

@PeterKay
Yes, I spoke to O2 who said delayed to September, local Vodafone shop knew Orange would be the first network to have a P990 out, T-mobile have no news at all.
But you can get unbranded O2 and Voda packages from phones2udirect and mobileshop

The download speed over wlan is fast, I downloaded two files, one 6295KB in 47s and another 3040KB big in 23s, from a local webserver on the same network. The speed equals 133KB/s which I think is just where it should be.
I tried two simultaneous downloads but the phone crawled almost to a halt and the average speed for both was some what lower, I got 124KB/s.

Only takes about 3-5 sec after setting up large cache.
