Right Mobileshop now claim their deliveries are another week away, claiming Customs are holding everything up. MM other companies seem to be getting theirs ok, the county doesn't seem to be locked down at all.
I think I'm going to cancel, does anyone know if Scancom actually have stock?

yeah, there seems to be two variant of the BST-33.
The one that came with my P990 is 900mAh, I can't read the capacity of the one that came with my M600 any more as removing and replacnig the back cover has worn it a bit, but I also bought a spare BST-33 which does say 950mAh
Interesting. The one that came with my M600i was the 900mAh variant wheras the BST-33 that came with my P990i (from Expansys) was the 950mAh variant.

I've heard about three or four different stories that Mobileshop.com have told regarding the P990i including "in the country but stuck at docks in Portsmouth", "stuck at Heathrow", "not in country yet", and now "customs holding them up".
Mind you after reading
this I suspect HMR&C may be a little more stringent than normal...

Well battery wise i have the bst 33 with my p990i which is 950mah...i get about a days use out of it which i find is piss poor in my honest opinion. I dont understand why the p900 etc had higher capacity batteries than the p990i, just doesnt make any sense to me. The p990i is a much more powerful unit than the earlier p series but yet SE give you a crap battery.
Anyways battery life as i said is pretty terrible but then i use the media player quite a bit but that seems to be ok battery wise. Its when i use my 3g connection and browse the net that the battery gets absolutely ko'd. Granted i havent tried the WIFI so cant say about battery life but on my 3g connection it gets caned hard. Bluetooth doesnt make that big a hit on the battery. Used it today for about an hr and half playing some mp3s on the way into work with my bt headset and my battery is at 95%. But i know a half hr of web browsing with my 3g connection will kill the battery.
If anything thats the only thing im disappointed with, the battery life of the p990i. Other than that currently still loving it.
Anyone know if any longer life batteries are available??

sounds like I have got my 3 BST-33 batteries a bit mixed up in my devices so I assume the 950mAh I have came out of the P990
anway, I haven't seen the BST-34 on sale anywhere and I have only seen one post claiming to have the BST-34 in the box and that was Michael Jerz at My-Symbian

Regarding bettery life..
Couldn't we expect improvments with future FW updates? On the K750i I got a major battery life increase on one of my FW updates. And I think this was quiate a late update. Not the first 4-5 ones at least.
So there is still hope....
But getting the BST-34, when it's out, is a must!
