One thing that I both love and hate about this country is that unlike the US we're not very litigious...it's good because the courts need to attend to important matters...it's bad because, like you said huge corporates can simply drag out a matter and hope that you eventually thrown in the towel- even if they were in the wrong.
Having reported on the High Court I would hate to challenge the likes of Vodacom or MTN.

One could fight the big boys in court, hopefully using your Legalwise policy, until the available funds are depleted.
Thereafter, it becomes interesting, in that unless it's a criminal charge which you're prosecuting, no help from the Legal Aid Board will be forthcoming.
One of the alternatives you'd be left with would be to launch a protest campaign a' la the 70's and 80's. I seem to recall a chap doing something similar after his new bakkie had axle problems. I think he took General Motors to court, and when they delayed matters interminably he had some posters made... Said posters caused so much dismay that the big boys were forced to come to some agreement with lil ol' Joe Soap.
It'd take some brass cahones though...

Ok, it's settled then...tommorow I'll walk around with a big ass placard saying Vodacom sucks, the next day it'll be the chance for MTN and the following day Cell C.

Within ONE day the SE V600 has dropped again in price here.
£89.99 on Vodafone PAYG.... or £79.99 (approx R900) if you trade in your old brick!

Damn bro, just under a R1000 for a 3G phone...if only I was in the UK I'd snap it up in a minute as my second phone.

Yeah,we're so damn spoilt for choice here that, as I've mentioned before, it takes a particularly high degree of self-discipline not to go 'bos' on cellphones with all these specials.
Got an email from BenQ-Siemens today.
Their latest newsletter has a link to win a trip to Cape Town!

It's all part of a promo to get people more aware of the new (and positively dull IMO) SL75 and higher spec, 2mp and 3G SXG75.

Hey wanqa, read in the Guardian yesterday that some areas in the East End would be getting CCTV cameras, what makes this interesting is that the feed would be broadcast to members of the community so they can view it on their tv's.

@ brix,
LOL, so we'll have our very own 'reality' tv show!
Might actually be quite interesting...

You won't be able to record the footage though...dunno how they will do that.
I was suprised to find that even towns like Kimberley had CCTV cameras in their CBD's.

Anyone who's had a cellphone stolen, how does it feel? ...
I think the feeling differs depending on how it happened. I never thought I'll lose the phone like I lost mine. I felt like my favourite girl dumped me. I also felt so dummmm by the way it happened.
