I can't seem to get installed applications to start on my phone. I've tried both Opera mini and Nav4all but nothing happens when I try to start it.

Am I missing something here?

Does anybody know what GPS navigation software is running on P990? As soon as I get my device I need some navigation software for it. Thanks for any answers

You can run Wisepilot, Wayfinder or Nav4All. I'v hear som talk about Route66 making a Symbian version also. Can anybody confirm this?

I have installed Nav4All.....by far the worst looking program. But then also the cheapest. You get what you pay for! hehe

One thing that is good with Nav4all is that you can buy the "Holux GPSlim 236 bluetooth GPS" very cheap (€69.50) on their webpage. They didn't even add freightcost when I bought mine.

i don´t think it will damage too much...anyway, if we are planning to buy the other battery later, then there is really no problema at all

@joel, i also have that hollux receiver, bought at nav4all.com (less than 70 euros)...and i´ve been using the nav4all software for some months (with k750), and i quite like it, although something like Tom Tom or Route 66 will be better for the 990 later

Yea!
And more expencive to!

Anyone else notice that when you click on ? for help in the P990i that usually if the text is long, it's cut off which makes it not very helpful?

I also noticed this in RSS Feeds...perhaps there's some text box capacity limit set somewhere?

Spoke to Orange Shop today, they are quoting October now for supplies. Just found out i can get a SPV M600 for £29.99, about the same as my excess on insurance. Any comments?

If you are going down the Windows Mobile route I wouldn't bother with the M600, the M3100 - which is Orange's version of the TyTN is a much better option.
