are you sure that your N80 has that VOICE sms MESSAGE feature
I thought that was ONLY featured in Nokia's E-series models
If so, you have that GUY's voice (SMS) 'cause you are a
. . . while I have that
voice because I am a GUY !

when someones ringing my phone some guys saying the name whilst it rings, I don't know about the text bit tho

I haven't made notice that with my E50 back then
was that an APPLICATION ? or a built-in fone feature? What I was mentioning back there was that in my E50 and with other Nokia E-series fones . . . you have an OPTION to READ your TEXT MESSAGES via VOICE . . . and YES, mine has that female-voice activated ON . . . also, when browsing the MENU, a MALE-activate-voice (built-in feature) can be USED to (option).
For all I know of . . . these TWO VOICE-features are ONLY available with Nokia's E-series fones.

with my E50 then . . .
Yeah, again . . . I guess those VOICE-feature are for OLD folks who have SIGHT-problems . . . or for those who are physically BLIND when usin' a Nokia fone

I found Message reader it's an actual application on the phone,
wont be using it though
