Rikken, is it just me or does this thing charge REALLY quickly??? I put it on charge at 2% just over an hour ago, it's now on 93% ,it's a hell of a lot faster than the GS2 and quite abit faster than GS3 to charge up. When I began charging it at 2% it got seriously hot, but then cooled down after it passed the 10% even though I was using it.

Going to get mine up to 100% then run some good ol' benchmarks see what this thing really has. Must say the more I hold and use it the more comfortable it seems to be to hold.

Rickster

I'd say its definetly a worthy upgrade from an S3, it multitasks a lot better for starters, I've had many apps going at once, none of them have had to refresh except the Camera of course. The UI is just so fluid fast and even more refined, I used it next to my grandmothers GS3 this afternoon and it makes the S3 and Note2s TouchWiz seem a tad bit dated, the new TouchWiz has these odd matte grey touches all over the UI, with a mix of very sharp and shiny elements, creates a very modern look to it, it looks much more refined. The lock screen is so awesome, as you all have seen the GS4 press shots, the "Life Companion" wallpaper is what is the lock screen wallpaper, and what happens is that as you bring your finger closer to the screen the sunlight follows it, you can float your finger over it without touching the screen and it follows exactly where it goes, they've taken AirView to a whole new level.

Guys, the Sound Quality on this thing is incredible, the highest volume is actually too high for me. The Wolfson DAC is helping it produce outstanding audio, much louder than the GS3 with very deep yet clear base and clear treble but without being too errrmm "sharp" if you know what I mean, this could also be due to the new headphones which seem to be an upgraded version of what we got with GS2 and GS3, the earbuds seem to go slightly deeper into the ear, but they are more comfortable, just felt odd putting them deeper into the ear canal.

Oh and guess what, the GS4 arrived before the Xperia Z got the Android4.2.2 update JUST as many of us in this thread knew would happen did I not say Sony would probably delay it and GS4 would arrive before it? Anyway, who cares, the GS4 has arrived! now let's see what Nokia and Apple bring

There has already been a leak (screen shot) for 4.2 with the Z a few weeks back. Its obviously in testing. And Sony has stated it will come very shortly after release. I have my money on the 4.2 update coming before the s4 is released. I could be horribly wrong!

4.2.2 update for Z is ready, will be out in 2 weeks according to zomg. So it will be out WAY before GS4 releases.

Tsepz_GP I believe the fast charging is due to the 2.0 A charger it comes with. Same as the one that comes with the Note 2

Rikken

Ah yes, I see some are talking about it at Android Central in S4 section, that explains it then, very nice, I guess this sort of charging is needed on such huge batteries these days, gone are the days where a 1500mAh batt was enough on a top end smartphone with the latest HW
