I watched the Nokia live stream, really dissapointing.
Same phones, new name. Only good thing is 3 years of Android updates.

It was the mother company refused to let Ericsson step up much I guess. They did came up with great ideas but mother company will not want them to overwrite their success. Now they fully integrated into Sony. So team Sony will rise up above ~

Just like nokia, now ericsson does only business related to 5G.
Whole mobile was acquired by sony like nokia's was by microsoft.

Sony lies.
On one day they give interview to say market is shifting away from high price phones and they need to enpower midranges. Then you see the fiscal data and realize they are indeed selling for 1ii than the rest.
Then you see 10iii with two 8MP rear cameras. Why not same combo from X5?

Well I wasn't really expecting anything super special out of 10III, probably the next one will get new design and new cameras. 10III has become hefty at 170g that's 20g more than 10II. I guess 1III will be very close to 200 this time around. Xperia 1 series used to be the lightest flagships on the market.
