Hello to everyone. I'm a very proud owner of k700i (unfortunately O2 branded), but since I've had problems with my phone ('cause of the firmware) (when I answer on the call that was on waiting the person who had called me can't hear me, the phone freezes or reboots without any reason, etc...), I tried to udate firmware version (mine is R2A041) on the Sony Ericsson update service online, but while doing so, I get stuck on the same thing every time, and non of U guys has ever mentioned this kind of a problem before... Here is what I can see on Java console :

hi/bok tomcat,
looking at your CDA you won't be able to use SE US anyway (look at this thread
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=73606).

Cao Velimire, ovo je internacionalni forum, pa cemo ipak na engleskom, nego rekoh da te pozdravim na nama blizem jeziku.
@vee
Seems that this is the big diference :
hf.path file=C:\hf.path
InstallDir = C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service
I can't see why I do not get this message, although I didn't find this dir in my SE dir.

I can send you the file - seus_setup115.exe - to email if you can receive such large files. it is around 12 MB. PM me with email if you want it.
I am also using latest version of Sun Java on Win XPSP2...
I am no expert, but maybe it is error in proxy configuration or firewall...
Ciao

I would suggest always using Mirosoft Java Virtual Machine when using Windows XP as it is far more stable. It is not available any more but a search on google will reveal it. You would be surprised how many errors are caused from Java VM's.
Also, I hate Sun Java, talk about take over your system! It almosts constitutes as spyware!!!
