Can the excellent technical people on this board help please?
1. I can't get Microsft ActiveSync (3.6) to see the 3970 when trying to connect for the 1st time.
2. The SE image editor just won't see my T68i to dnload images
3. Also, is it possible to get a 3970 to use my cable broadband for web browsing through my PC or form a Network connection
Current setup:
MS XP Pro (SP1)
MSI Key (1.3.0 sw and 525 firmware)
T68i (R6 sw)
iPAQ 3970
I have paired both the T68i and 3970 to the PC and each other no problems. I can sync the T68i with Outlook using the XTND sw, I can also send files from the iPAQ to the PC (using sendfile in BT Manager).
Can anyone help with the 3 questions I have listed above?
Many thanks in advance for all your assistance.
Cheers,
Klee

@Klee re: #2
Why bother with that program? Just copy the files to the device using the software

You can move the dongle between your laptop and desktop but every time you do this you will need to repair the device with your phone.

Yes, when you plug the dongle into your laptop for example, go to "My Bluetooth Places", then "View devices in range". From there, right-click on the icon representing your phone and select "Unpair". Then you need to set your phone to discoverable and start a search for devices on your laptop. When you unplug your dongle and move it back to your desktop go through the same steps.
Does anyone know if there are any Class 1 USB dongles available ?

The MSI 6968 is the same as the 6967 USB BT key except that it is built in to your PC. Both support BT audio but best to download the latest BT stack (1.3.2.7) from MSI which includes the latest firmware. Then you can use your PC as a speaker phone.
