Actually with some numbers ther could be three. Mobinil has 018 too now and there could be three people with the same number.

I also wonder if there'll auctions for some gold numers like 011 1111111 ?

I'll give u the answer guys. Who moves, will move with the wole dial including the prefix (either 010, 011, or 012). The dial is to be considered as consisting of 10 digits, not just 7.

Now that doesn't really make sense. Mobily didn't do that in Saudi Arabia. It would be nice though.

Mobily didn't have to do that coz when it entered the market, Al Jawal had only 9 million subs, with a 9.999.999 dial range was readily available. Now Etisalat is entering the market in Egypt while both Mobinil & voda are about to reach the end of their 7 digit range (up to 9.999.999). The plan with the new 10-digit range of dials in Egypt could extend the dial ranges up to 99.999.999, so I guess now it makes sense

mahora, you did see mobinil's ad saying 018 is now their's too. And why would they need to switch to a 8 digit system, which I do agree is better and they should've implemented from day one, inama t2ool eih ba2a.

Americany, I still don't understand how it can be ashta, I would say ishta or eshta. I also take it you're very happy with the W810.

Now something to vote on.

Are you ok with having i-mate in Egypt or would you prefer HTC to replace it as a brand?

Just in case you don't know QTek was just a brand HTC used among others to market their phones, i-mate on the other hand isn't although i-mate mainly relys on HTC products. I-mate is rumored to not use the HTC excaliber (S620) but is going with something else (JAC).

I like i-mate, I was actually going to get a JAMin instead of getting my K800i, but I just couldn't break the row of Sony Ericsson phones I had. Also, the only major thing the Jamin has over K800 is WiFi. I prefer the 3.2MP CS camera though:)

alibond you didn't really get the question.

The point is do you prefer imate or HTC. As a brand. Till now all imate phones are made by HTC, but Imate is rumored to be dropping the HTC S620 for a phone made by another company.

So do you prefer HTC and it making all its products. Or imate which is obviousely not going to rely on HTC for all its products anymore.
