I have a few questions, so I've numbered them for easy answering. Hopefully someone can help as everyone here has always been very helpful to me:).

1. Has anyone ever ordered from http://www.mobilecityonline.com? They just got stock yesterday (Monday). The price is a pretty steep ($1049 USD, which is about $65 USD more than Expansys/MobilePlanet). But I just checked and MobilePlanet has moved my ship date again to 3 days. It would be nice to get the phone this week. I just wanted to hear if anyone has done business with them and how it went.

2. Also, has anyone tried the SE Stereo Bluetooth Headset (HBH-DS970)? If so, what are your impressions on sound quality, comfort, etc.?

3. And I'm sure this has already been asked, but I couldn't find an answer: Why exactly was the P990 released in UK and then "unreleased"? They had the support site up and everything, and then it was taken away and "Coming Soon" was put back up. I don't understand.

Thanks

@chriswg52

P990 + HBH-DS970 = superb sounds. The P990 is the best MP3 player I have ever heard in terms of reproduction and the DS970 are superb as well.

I second that.
@Jah I think the sound is even better after the firmware update. The Mega Bass equalizer sound is incredible..

It may be a early to assess this but now that my battery (BST-33) has been charged a few times and an update with the new firmware it seems my battery life is improving to the point that I think I can use my P990 all day with one charge. Also as I previously reported, don't use a tight fighting case/pouch as it causes the backlight to be on all the time.

is it really that good?
someone did mention in the thread that the sound is very soft...
I am thinking of getting a HBH too ..

Will it drain much of the battery when using HBH

@p9nineo

Battery drain on the P990 - just less than 15% for about 1hr 15 minutes of listening over BT with the DS970

One small trick to boost the soundlevel is to use the equalizer... There is a setting there that will gain the level.

Oh.. so you don't mind the soundquality at all? Just want it as loud as possible on the bass.
