I didn't have this bug with my HBH-Ds220--- But ...
Are you still able to change the volume whilst using your HBH-DS200 ? Volume does not work with my HBH-DS220 when listening to music. Works fine when using it for phone calls. With my HPM-70 volume control works as well.
Can you confirm that bug ?
I can still change the volume with the music playing with the headset (slowly and sluggish tho, with the volume 'balls' not going up or down synced with the volume of the music) but it does change

Hmm - no update yet for T-Mobile UK but reading all the problems people are having I think I might give this FW a miss. The last update fixed all my random reboot problems and although I'd like faster bootup time and faster Java app loading I don't really want to do this at the expense of stability.
Roll on R3 that Mizzle mentioned before

I find it hard to believe myself but according the guy showing the new

models (C902, G900 etc etc) at the Kensington shop, there is a new firmware out next week. My guess is that it's probably a network's firmware. Probably for '3'.

On ALL the firmwares I've had a batterly life of about 3-4 days(heavy texting and occasional media player usage)
I'm now using the latest firmware, and the battery life didn't get worse!
I think my battery has taken a hit with the new firmware for one simple reason; I've been playing around with the phone like it's brand new!
I've been using the media player more, trying different video clips, using the web browser, taking pictures and so on.. all things that drain power!
When the novelty wears off, I think it will go back to normal!

When you noticed this red diode, are you associating its shining with something?

about the red led, i think most SE fones have it
so far i see it in k700, k750, w800, w600, k800...so i think k850 should have it too
the red led will start blinking when ur batt life is at 10% during the 1st warning for low batt
