OK guys, I know this should be G700 as it would be the only phone fitting, but there are small differences, especially on the keypad area. Proto?
Somebody enlight me please.

When you say the space between the keys are smaller on the G700, I think that's just only a matter of perspective. You can see that the perspective of the G700 is higher, which creates an illusion.
I would think it's the same phone: perhaps the original G700 would have a black/gold combination, then Sony Ericsson changed it to a gold/black one.

And as Domipost noticed the ratio between the size of the first button (A) and the second (B) is different...
