Hi, I just wanted to make some notes on X10. I didn't find any note pad or anything. Can somebody help me with this?

When the APN On(Juice defender off) I feel the phone gets warm.
Certainly there is a background update process that drains the Battery.
I'm going to disable APN's tomorrow. Let's see how the battery goes with out internet connection.

APN is off and the battery level is 88%.
should publish an update for that battery drainer.
I don't want to find what it is because simply I don't care, I just want my battery back.

APN Drains battery ?

What is the APN then? What does it do? What is affected if you switch it off? Can you switch it off?

I have google mail and maps set up, but can't find any options to make alter the settings for updates. Anyone know where I should look ?

Regards APP Market, some days I have trouble downloading from there which is possibly due to space on my phone as when I deleted a couple of things I didn't really use, it then downloaded. i have also had a No Space warning. how do you download APP's to and run from Memory Card rather than the Phone?

Finally, ALARM CLOCK. Rubbish. Juice Defender appears to allow it to make a brief noise then kills it. Downloaded a couple of others and they are rubbish also. I will need this feature, anyone got any tips on how to make the Alarm Clock good or as to which one WORKS ??

Thanks
Woz

The APN stands for Access Point Network. It is used to link your phone to your service provider when you need to access to your provider's internet or any other services.

Battery holds on 86%. I can't believe that.

I have uninstalled couple of widgets and applciations as well. Tomorrow I'm going to turn back mobile internet connection again. IF the battery drains again, I'm going to beat

@tranced
I was just yanking your tail. I enjoy being the pedantic prat

Has anyone else experienced this: I was flat dead on battery when I woke up so I gave it a 30 minute boost and put it in my pocket then went out for a couple hours. It was 26% when I unplugged it. I checked it an hour later and I had 29%. 10 minutes later 30%. Then it started to come down again when I started to use it, but it didn't seem to come down any faster than usual, just as if with normal use. It seemed weird that the indicator appeared to give me more juice when I hadn't plugged it in.
