Can anyone tell me how much time does it take to update the firmware in W800i? I mean from the start to end.

And how big is the firmware file approximately?

Doesn't take that long. I think around 10-15 mins (if i can remember). You don't really get informed on the file size of the firmware.

Apparently the R1AA008 firmware adds an interesting bug: the bluetooth headset standby bug. I have an W800i and I tested it using an MSI FT200 and a Plantronics 320. Both exhibited the same issue: after 10-20 minutes at most, the headsets in standby no longer received the sound from the phone. Either for incoming or outgoing calls.

Funny, I have R1A and have no BT problems, use Plantronics h\\set for an hour a day and no issues..............

plus you will always have the latest version as it will auto update on starting
