Lol they were saying the same exact thing for xperia z. Sony is still sonyericsson and ericsson in that part. The only part they should have copy from Apple but they didn't.

I know lol. They also just released Z and it and rumours are popping out here that it will get S600 soon lol. Why not Z, but even earlier?

I have to disagree on the S600 for Z,ZL or Tablet Z but time will tell. It is just a rumor that started on NeoGAF and spread like crazy all over XDA, ESATO and other forums.

Sony has never done such a major hardware change and I don't expect them to do it. S4 Pro it is. Going by current trends, they can easily procure more as its still in production for atleast half of Q2.

I find it really strange that Sony will change the ship to S600, unless they were already preparing for this since the beginning !! I mean launching with S4 Pro to be fast and also switching to S600 at the time.. but Sony could do it directly with S600 from the start by having a very short launching frame ( like HTC One ) or a soft launch in CES and hard in WMC ( in CES only pictures and some basic spec. no detailed or named SoC is mentioned )...
I'll be happy to have this even for waiting one or two more months, but in the same time worried about having more different SKU's to work with, making it harder for Sony to maintain the quick and fast updates...
I'm ready to hold for Xperia Z a little more if this is true as I think the first patch of Xperia Z will not have LTE ( for our region ), and later we will have some other patches, Sony Mobile ME said on Facebook first that they will being 3G Z and 4G ZL in the region, but now duo to huge request for 4G and also as more countries just enabled 4G they will reconsider which countries will have 4G enabled Z's...

I Know that Firefox OS is not meant to be a high-end OS, they wanted it easy to implement and require less resources than other OS ( Android and Ubuntu ), it's perfect for low-end devices as it will even require lower spec. devices and easier development cycle and faster implementation, Android and Ubuntu is harder to get it done compared to FfOS and the reason why Sony stated that they will stop making low-end phones is coz of Android, they're spending too much (Time and Money) to have it for these low-spec'ed phones, and they're thinking that FfOS might be the solution for this problem...
Ubuntu is a high-end system, in bar with Android and even higher also, having Ubuntu will mean having two high-end systems to work with, so this will mean splitting resources for two OS's and this is hard for Sony Mobile...
