A similar thing happened to me at Ford Balintawak and Makati where they wanted to change the jem module and 4wd switch of the F150 costing a total of Php 18,000. Good thing the parts were to arrive 3 weeks after and I was able to go to Wizard electrical... they just applied WD40 at the contacts of the computer box and it solved the problem. It cost me a total of only Php 250 for labor and the can of wd40.

@ksroy re:Chrysler...Isn't the dealership and service being handled by the Quisumbings? I suggest you document everything, names, time, place etc and I'll help you out in your complaint. I have the contact with DTI as well as other consumer columnists in various newspapers.

@dlreyes: may I have the address of Wizard? The last time I went there, it was still located at tomas morato, more than a decade ago. Thanks in advance!

@bonito... it's still there, never transferred and they now have a Chinese restaurant beside them with reasonable prices so you can eat and wait there while having your repairs. Nandun pa rin si Mang Fred, the brother of Nova Villa.

@dlreyes: thanks! Wizard was recommended to me and my dad by Ed Salonga of Ceed Motors. That's where I got my '74 Plymouth Duster. We had our old Chevy Van re-wired there at Wizard.

They are one reliable electrical shop. While you're there you might as well buy their quail eggs and rice which they grow from their farm.
