@ MarkJason I have tried it on my cid 49 "w750" before posting.
I also agree with mobikid, some documentation on 8.53 would be nice.
No pun intended here but chengrong is a bit stingy on words, i.e. it took a few pages before letting us know which mode has the slowest shutter speed, good & bad combinations etc.

Someone told Chengrong about the ZOOM thing that someone said it worked! So Chengrong made a revised driver... AFAIK Chengrong have a CID36 K750i so i think he can't test it on his own...

Is hard for you to take a look on post from yesterday, and realise that no chance for zooming in full res. on k750i cid49, realised after may 2006? No driver thing... Sorry for my question in this way... Regards goes to youuote]

There is no zoom in saved file in new CID49 v.8.53. But other functions work in full res. mode!
Please explain, what is the perpose to save zoomed files? You can crop it later in PS. You can tune v.8.52 too, using my post from p.31.

Each scenes has a purpose, like if you are shooting in a sports game, use 1.6 sport scene. If you are shooting in a night place lets say if you are in las vegas... use 1.4 night scene. The 1.3 scene is the standard night mode of our camera...

1.0 normal - that's self-explanatory
1.1 Portrait - people and close objects in normal light
1.2 Landscape - far objects and landscape views, nature, etc in normal light
1.3 Night Portrait - normal night mode
1.4 Night Scene - low iso (100), low noise, makes perfect pictures of city lights
1.5 sports - fast shutter speed, noise in pictures, used for moving objects
1.6 Beach/snow - ?
1.7 Document - perhaps used for documents
1.8 Manual Exposure Scene - very slow exposure, used in very dark conditions with no movement and preferably a tripod
At least that's what I think...
