if your encoding your mp3 at a low bitrate shame on you,, encoding it at least at 128kbps minimum!
most of mine are 192 or higher,,some are 160kbps

now im thinking people who say the sound is poor,,seems that theyre the ones encoding mp3s at shitty quality :/

oh god merciful why.just kidding ..why do you use that program..fare enough your choice,,in my opinion just convert them using lame encoding..with say goldwave or something similar and just drag and drop later into your phone i think its a better way then disc to phone:)

All my mp3's are encoded at 192kbps+ and the speaker still sounds tinny. That's the way it is I think. Very similar to W880, maybe not as bad as.

The new Media Mgr PC s/w is needed to add the Sense Me metadata to your tracks before transferring them over to phone. It's slow! Took about 6 hrs to read 4 gigs of music. Although you can add the Sense Me data as you're tranferring the music files to your phone. God knows how long that would take. I used s/w to add the metadata to all my files in my computer all at one go so I can later just drag+drop to the mobile w/o wondering if the Sense Me stuff's there or not in the files.

Anyone else can confirm this - there's a very slight rattle between the upper and lower body parts (at bottom right corner of upper part) when slider is open. Very horrible horrible deja vu of N95! Wk40 build.

question about the mp3 software, is it possible to sort the songs after the date they have been added WITHOUT making a playlist?

I've not got an answer to that but I've got a similar query in that I want to just sort tracks by artist without having to create a playlist like I did with my w810. Does anyone out there have a way to do this? There are some improvements I like in the latest player version like skipping to a track by using letters, but the lack of a simple track sort is really getting on my nerves.

Also, when I try to make a playlist on the phone, it only looks at the directories on the phone's memory instead of the m2 card. There's no other detail in the manual apart from going to "media > music > playlist > new playlist > add music" so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I really want to like this phone as I loved my w810, but this is the 2nd one I've had in a week (dodgy camera on the 1st) and I just feel like returning it right now because of some of the ways you have to jump through hoops to get things done.

I'm having the same problems myself and it's really annoying. Anyone got any ideas?
