Voice to text on X10 mini running Android version 1.6
Seeing as I had such a hard job finding something to do this, I am posting this success story hoping to save others time. I eventually succeeded very well indeed by installing the good value app called Ultra Keyboard
http://www.androidzoom.com/an[....]ra-keyboard_fwhg_download.html The keyboard is great too, as well as having a voice to text button, it has different views depending on landscape or portrait, and just one view can be full screen if you want. Quite customisable, and with a good customisable dictionary, but most importantly, with the voice to text I am able to reply to emails or texts much more quickly now.

Yes it does have the auto rotate in certain things like internet. But there is no keyboard cos its too small screen for it. Perhaps there is an app for that. as for the keyboard it does rotate in texting but same key pad
Ultra Keyboard has a full keyboard option working well on the X10 mini. In my opinion, this app is a 'must have' for the X10 mini. Sony Ericsson should buy and install it as a sales feature!

who asked:
do any other guys buy this phone?
Absolutely! This IS the ultimate Guys and Gals phone!
In fact for anyone with reasonable eyesight. My wife would be needing her glasses all the time but for me the convenience is all that matters, Sony Ericsson have got it just right for the 80 percentile user I reckon.
I as a new user am banned from making more than 3 posts on my first day, which is why I had to tag this onto my previous post.

@ispie: I think you have me confused with somebody else, I didn't ask if the X10 mini was a phone for women!

This is a unisex phone but for sure girls would love this especially Asians who are hooked to touchscreens. It's a bummer that this is not yet released in Asia-Pacific.
@Phoner that might be laffen's.

Quick one for users....
How do you find browsing on it?? Obviously you can download new browser apps if the default one isn't good.
But I'm worried that, having had an iphone for a while now, if the small screen is going to be really hard to adjust to.... ?
