Vit - every phone is not usable on ISO200 or upper. All cameraphones are BEST only to good bright light. Shots in dark are poor like in cheaper cameras. Barel distorsions principle are normal for many wide angle lens , but in N8 camera is visible unexpected blur on right side or blury spots on all image .

check out this night club video from N8. simply amazing quality for these conditions.
What other mobile can capture this kind of quality in a dark night club?

N8 doesn't have a video LED light? who cares

That is truly amazing how good of a camera the Nokia N8 has.
I have made up my mind and I am going to leave my Sony Ericsson trend and
jump back onto the Nokia ship again.. no doubt about it with the beauty and perfect camera of Nokia N8!

Well, in Brazil we use to say that one picture says more than a thousand words... What about two?

These come from my very own Satio, and they were taken @ ISO-500:

The picture below has had a pretty mild noise reduction with Topaz DeNoise v5 (also @ ISO-500):

N8 have BEST sensor but not is BEST cameraphone BEST cameraphone is His Majesty Sir Pixon12
Why? Because Pixon12 have great razor sharp optics and close up MACRO 8 cm. All phone design is like camera.

Thats funny because the Pixon12 was rated the WORST images produced in GSM Arenas blind shootout between N8/Pixon12/Sony Hx5v.

Winner of the blind test was N8

Wow , take it easy man First, the comparison is made in bad weather, N8 big sensor have advantage .
Second - in test not use real commersial Pixon12. Use old test model.

Real compare Here with two diferents Pixon12 and two N8

@Sassho
I am sorry, I didn't mean to come off angry, but its hard to not get frustrated here with all these people trying to put down the N8 for no good reason, and especially when you make a silly comment like..
"the comparison is made in bad weather, N8 big sensor have advantage "

So the weather was bad indoors also? and for the macro shots, and low light shots?
So, when you go outside to take pictures you have to hope for nice sunny weather all the time if you own a Pixon?

Doesn't this tell you that the N8 can handle more lighting conditions than the Pixon?
That fact right there is a huge advantage for the N8.. so I don't know how you can say Pixon 12 is so great.

come on man, stop with the crazy excuses just to hate on the N8 already..

and where do you see they used an old test model? sounds like a bunch of excuses to me
Just admit the N8 is the new king

New king but cross-eyed, N8 want new glasses I like how shot N8 , but quality ask more. For real good photography I want good detail and close MACRO, have N8 this things?

OK. let's make new blind test. Which picture is better - Left or Right. Don't look in EXIF ofcourse

@Sassho How do you plan to decide which one is better while they are totally different scenes and different times?
