it's fine. Won't hurt the battery. I've done this with every phone I've owned. I've never had to replace a battery.

The battery won't charge to it's full capacity until after the first couple of charges.

I wanted to ask if my battery capacity might be degraded if I didnot strictly obey initial formatting process (i.e. several full charges and discharges in a row). Also I would be interested if frequent short-time connections to Pc via cable with USB charging On may degrade the battery capacity if battery is half-charged. Is it better to turn USB charging off or don't I have to care ? Is it good/bad idea to leave phone on charger whenever possible (even if charged), or does not matter ? Can I find a Good manual for li-pol battery care?

It doesn't matter. You can leave a lithium battery on charge for as little or as long as you like without degrading it's performance.

There is no memory affect in lithium batteries.

One more question here: during long internet transfers the phone housing is quite warming. Somewhere I've read lithium batteries are squeamish to high temperatures. Can these operation conditions shorten bat. life any way? Thanks

As long as it doesn't get hot to the touch it shouldn't have much affect on batt life.
