liren: But my budget is very tight. Abt $300 - $320. I guess becoz the DSC-P30 is discontinued (old model) that's why the shop willing to let go cheap. Warranty for a year. I couldn't agree more with u on the memory stick. Sony only includes a 4mb memory stick! Memory stick in SG is cheaper I guess... abt $60+ for a 64mb...

if you don't really really really really need a digital camera, don't get it first. First, technology is not mature yet. With 2mega pixel photo (1280 X960) you can just print out as 5R photo. Those cheap kodak film can promise to have good quality at least for 10R. Second, price surely will drop after new product come out, maybe 10mega pixel? 20 mega pixel ?

I like having a camera ard wherever I go. Cannever know who I meet or what I see. But, carrying my normal camera ard is frustrating becoz I only get to see those picts after the film has finished (which is abt 3 - 4 mths time). I dun really take a lot. The last pict took was with J.B Jayaratnam!

then you can go for it since it perfectly suit your need. I believe singapore also have something call digital print right? It's a photo shop that do printing for digital format. Either fujifilm or kodak express. Malaysia printing price is rm0.70 for 4r. It's cheaper then buy a printer + photo ink + glossy paper.
