That EOS 650 reminds me of when i had the ol' EOS RT with silent shutter. And then the EOS-1n RS.

Indeed with pellicle mirror, those were the days eh!!, film stuff is great value nowadays

That's why I'm not ready to go dSLR yet!
To really get into the nitty gritty - or so to speak, you
have to start with film!
That's why I went for the 650! Bought it for £27 and if it fails - I can buy another!
The curtain failed because of some lubricant stuck in it - serviced that myself with a bit of ethanol, and it's been working fine since - results are superb!
At the moment, I'm very happy with learning with my 650.

and yes, my right ear is a little smaller, never used to be like that, only from about a year ago.
and depends on the tips/earphones i use.
