The K750i i took back was week 20 and the replacement is the same , i had no problems with the phone so i really didn't need to update the FW.
The pictures i took last night would have been with the new fw but I didn't get any blurs with either fw ?
Only took the phone back due to updating and then not be able to use gprs and mms, also it was the bluewater store.
This is one from last night with the newer FW , i did use photoshop though to adust the contrast levels ect.

BUT BUT if the phone rings after it lost the connection then it is quick to apply the headset again and the headset rings within a second.
the same happens if I leave the car, the phone looses connection with the headset, and when I return it does not connect automatically (as you described) but as soon as the phone rings (or you make a call) the connection is up and running. But for this to happend, just leave the bluetooth on at all times.
I'm having the same experience now as well. The connection will lost after some time of inactivity. But when there's an incoming call, the connection will resume and I can still answer the call via the headset.
Guess I can say problem solved.

Just took some quick pics for you matey
One thing i did notice when i updated the k750i i had last night is that when i did the led test in the service menu the led didn't light up and it did b4 the upgrade.
Weird thing with this one , just intstalled speed chaser on it and only shows half a screen ??

Semms SE or O2 now know there is a problem as trying to upgrade FW on a O2 phone brings up.
"Your device is not permitted to use this service
Your operator does not approve the usage of this service for this device.
We look forward to assist you again soon.
Thank you for using Sony Ericsson Update Service"

Well what a disaster this upgrade has been for me.
Spend about 45mins on various phone calls to SE, O2 this morning, SE intially weren't very helpful, O2 told me what i knew already; the firmware isn't approved on O2.
Went to the O2 shop at lunchtime and they told me the only way to fix this problem was to send it back to O2 repair (which will take a week) where they would re-flash the phone to the original firmware.
Rang SE again this afternoon and the guy was much more helpful, he aknowledged that SE know there are issues with the new firmware and that they are working towards an 'iminment' release of operator specific firmware - I pushed him for an ETA (as O2 will take a week to fix it) and he said this week.
So i'm going to hold on in there, and fingers crossed, i'll be able to use the SEUS again to get my GPRS working.
Pretty relieved that SE know there's a problem, after not knowing whatsoever this morning.
