Both Vulcan and the Raphael are rumoured to have a Snapdragon.... Could this be the base of the new HW platform SE will be using for their upcoming Smart phones? After all these leeks and rumours I would be kinda dissapointed if it was same old agian....

hey, just like clockwork, thanks for the heads up mizz ... guys appreciate this weekend for what it was, you had NOTHING before this. this thread was dead! a whole lotta leaks and mizz even gave you a heads up regarding something about vulcan on saturday, and hes usually less direct, so be greatful this was a HUGE weekend ...
i need me some Rachael so simple and elegant, i cant wait to see how android donut performs ... who knows we may even be able to port sense eventually but SE may have gotten a good team together to design the shell.
all i know is that i want to see it in action! i have no info though outside of what it looks like, and that is normally better than "specs" with no design. I really hope its top of the line and the battery is 1350 -1500mAh PLEASE dont make it tiny like satio. I wonder about the GPS and how fast it is, indoors, there was a video of an OmniaHD acquiring a signal and DL maps _VERY_ quickly indoors (no wifi) which impressed me greatly. i asked mizz/anyone who may know about memory expansion, if it comes with 16/32 that would be decent, i like the idea of the zuneHD its got a perfect size for an all in one however its just an MP3 player and i only have one pocket for electronics ... (stubborn). 512+ RAM and 32gb (N97 competitor, who knows maybe theyll drop a bomb on us with the first 64GB phone) of rom with a microsdhc
chances are well only get VGA recording, which is always a bummer, but at this point we should all expect it, anything more would be a bonus but since they JUST started VGA and it took them a handful of years to getit out the door it doesnt look like D1 is coming anytime soon. Heres hoping to a dedicated DSP to go along with that delicious 3.5mm jack. since its an xperia phone and the only other X phone thats out has a great res theres precedent on this one to be at least as dense, if its android we may be able to move away from the 65K bs and get a nice screen (glass!?) at 16mil ... as its stands cupcake only allows for a 1MB screen buffer but with RAM reaching new heights (HTC my put a phone out with 1GB before the year is out) seems a bit arbitrary esp when the systems of these higher end devices can quite obviously handle it. there should be a way to change that in the kernel to allow for higher res screens.
i hope that the screen is glass, it just adds a bit of class to a device *(and weight but who cares if it wont scratch like plastic, even the K850i from 07 has a glass screen!) oleophobic fingerprint resistant coating, this all depends on if its resistive of capacitive ... and i see no stylus

, even still stantum's screen tech would be way more awesome than capacitive.

It has a 4" screen too btw. raphael that is. Mobile bulgaria reports the screen resolution is 800x432 or thereabouts.

i dunno those measurements were made with photoshop measuring the diameter of the 3.5mm jack and lining it up against the screen and its closer to 3.8" than 4 ... even still thats massive, i hope the device isnt huge, im not trynna carry a tablet with me, id much prefer if it were closer to the touch diamond than the omniahd ... well see
