Howzit going, Geeksta? Nice to have ya around, boet. Guys, speaking of cartoons, something i've always wondered, which colour does a Smurf turn when it's being choked? lol, pity Gargamel never had one of em in a chokehold in any of the episodes i saw. Brix, you going to be in the Mama City Easter time? I'm heading thataway to spend some time with my brother, would be great to sit down and have a coffee with you and whoever may be in the area at that time. This message was posted from a WAP device

Still don't know my exact plans for that weekend...chances are that I'll probably be stuck in Slaapstad even though I promised some people that I'l be in Kimberley over that weekend.
If I'm around we can definitely sit down for a cold Amstel at my fav spot on Long Street.

Still haven't managed to wean myself off the Labels, although i enjoyed Amstel long before i discovered Labels. Mind you, not often i drink a cold one, since my dad imparted the advice that the Water Of Life actually does extend one's lifespan ;-) for some reason our family doctor agrees with that opinion... Check this out:
Buy £50 airtime (approx R560) from Carphonewarehouse and get a Nokia 1100 for absolutely FREE on PAYG!
It's on the Carphonewarehouse's own 'Fresh' network (roaming with T-Mobile),which has one of the cheapest PAYG tariffs.
Being on Fresh, it'll also mean that the handset won't be locked either.
http://www.carphonewarehouse.[....]N06NOK1100&origin=SPECIALOFFER

Yes the 1100 is about as basic as you get, but still, to get any handset for free on PAYG...

@ brix,
Hope your stomach has recovered completely from that burger-bug.

@da wanqsta: I'm feeling much better now. Anyone notice the big fuss being made about Vodacom's 3G tv service? R10/day to access it sounds pretty cheap before the novelty wears off. Just using the T68i after a while and have to say I'm still impressed with the T9 implementation. This message was posted from a T68i

Hello wanq, brix and all...keep 4getting to come back to the SA section.Like most newbies i tend to hang around the PXXX areas so as to learn more about the fone....I was always a Nokia fella(7610) being my last one BUT what with dissatisfaction with it and a geeky yearning i died and went to P910i heaven...lol...my new flavour of the month (after ten years on dialup) is Broadband wireless and this has changed the complexion of surfing....therebye freeing me up to continue the quest for the perfect venue to sup a Windhoek...
think i will place a shortcut to this page on the desktop....that should remind me (if i can see the shortcut amidst the disarray...lol)to return more often.
Nice to meet ya all....later,geek.

btw Kryp...Geeky question;what are "Labels?"

@da wannabe: Welcome to Esato's South African ghetto.
When Kryptik is reffering to "Labels" he's talking about Black Label aka 10111 aka QuickCharge for it's ability to floor the uninitiated.

lol @ Brix, those Labels can be wicked!

Wanqsta, that prepaid deal on the 1100 sounds good, i'd stock up on a couple of them, use them as gifts to youngsters starting out.

@ Geeksta, why not stick this thread's icon onto the toolbar, boet? btw, i still lust after a P910i in a guilty sort of way, simply to see what the other side live like

Awu guys

I have some serious problems with phones.

My w800i died this weeekend, it was hit by the white screen f/w bug. It just does respond when trying to switch on it just gives you white screen.

I sent it away on saterday for medical attention. I hope to get it this week.

I'm just wondering if other fone brands have so many bugs on thier fones.

SE is really starting to dissapoint me.
