Take it back where you bought it from. I had this and the replaced it no questions asked! A few other people here have had the same problem and got replacements.

Yeah, right,it just takes worse looking pictures

And is not even s60

if you think the screen size is big then you haven't seen Innov8. Samsung is a winner

The c905 is quickly turning into another Sorryericsson F...up. No wonder they have posted a financial loss in the last quarter
1. Comparison after comparison shows no significant advantage of one camera over the other. Each cam's strengths and weaknesses are balanced out by the other.
2. s60 is by no means phone OS de rigeur, despite how much you want it to be
3. C905 selling like hotcakes and it's a f...up?
Yeah right

Oh dear; once again some people are being far too passionate and blinkered about one phone over the other.
If you've used both, you'll know the i8510 is sharper, cleaner and captures more detail than the SE. That's a fact, but that isn't the whole picture (sic).
The C905 is quicker to activate, has proper camera buttons, a Xenon flash and many clever features (that said, the i8510 has blink detection and some other cool things). Overall, the C905 may take slightly inferior pictures - but you're more likely to get the picture.
Each cam's strengths and weaknesses are balanced out by the other.
Absolutely. If you need a smartphone that can run loads of applications, and you also want or value a good camera, the i8510 is perfect. It shows Nokia up big time for not having done it themselves.
But, not everyone does want or need a smartphone. It's why there's choice out there. Two other models are touchscreen, which is appealing to another market entirely (and the Pixon is actually pretty decent too).
And how can it be a SE f-up? It's been the best selling contract phone in the UK for the last few weeks!

Guy's don't let mario wind you up. I think his brain runs on S60
The C905 is a great feature-phone. The differences between the 8.0MP cams are minimal in reality.
How many people really, take a picture blow it up and take crop and examine the sharpness of a leaf in minute detail and then use that as the decider on which phone to buy?
If the quality of the cam was that important to you then you're better off with a digicam.

Hi !
What advice would you experienced C905 users give to to a person who was just about to buy one?
For example, remove Vodafone firmware and debrand using....?? to ?? firmware.
Camera is best with these settings ..... etc etc.
Or would you just use it as it is ?!
I know I can read the thread but I looking for a Friday 21st up-to-date reply !
I am thinking do I sell my 7.2 mp Casio on and use the C905 as my camera !
Thanks !

I have had no scratched keypad issues. I have a theory on whats causing it though. I would imagine its small particles of grit getting caught between the slider and the keypad.
If you hold your phone to the light and look at the space between the slider and the keypad, its virually nothing, so if theres grit in there its gonna cause the problem that a few people have experienced.

Well I'm not so bothered about the Orange Branding on my handset now, the geotagging works brilliantly, I was out in the dark last night trying the cam and the gps worked flawlessly both tagging and tracking using Amaze.
From what I've heard the Shozu App is better for uploading photos to Flickr, Picasa, etc than the SE blog functions, I am still a bit annoyed about the lack of being able to view where my Geo-Tags are for with Google Maps but fingers crossed they will resolve this, also hopefully they will sort out that fact the downloaded Google Maps doesn't seem to recognise the GPS.
