From the Z-thread:
Like us, an employee of Qualcomm has confirmed the MWC booth in Barcelona, it is the supposedly new Snapdragon 600 only, and a kind of remake of the older Snapdragon S4 Pro with four cores - Technically, the old S4 Pro (model without wireless APQ8064 modules or model MSM8960 with GSM-/3G-/4G-Modul) and the current Snapdragon 600 (APQ8064T) completely identical, since they have at least the same core, same graphics unit and the exact same memory. The memory interface and other features are the same. The only slight difference is that the Snapdragon 600 through its finer production gets a slightly higher maximum clock: instead of the S4 Pro 1700 MHz, there are up to 1900 MHz. Qualcomm will also in future be both externally and internally no longer the names as S4.

@ Detox
Thanks for the link. I said the same thing a few weeks ago and everybody disagreed. The S600 is just an over-clocked APQ8064. The S600 at 1.5 GHz should have the same performance as the APQ8064.

You were wrong then and you are wrong now. There are benchmarks of an overclocked 1,7 GHz HTC DNA on XDA and it still loses by a fair amount to the HTC One
Just because a Qualcomm employee says it doesnt make it true. There is a youtube video of a Samsung employee claiming Exynos Octa draws 70% less power than Exynos Quad (when in reality its actually Exynos 4210 in Galaxy S2)
You have to understand at shows like MWC, there are a bunch of marketing guys going around that are clueless about the technical part of the products

Sony: Xperia Z display "unbeaten"
http://blogs.sonymobile.com/2[....]nbeaten-in-sonymwc-booth-test/
Speaking about Xperia Z's display, that day, I went to compare the screen quality between Xperia Z and my Xperia Ion and unfortunately (or fortunately) me and my friend agree that Ion seems to have a deeper black and Xperia Z's screen have a grey cast to it.
one of my friends has got Xperia Z and did a quick comparison between Xperia Z and TX ..~

I don't know but this article seems to agree that Xperia Z have a lower screen contrast. Hope Sony improves on it.

^^ I really Trust both the opinion and picture was posted by my friend here :
http://www.adslgate.com/dsl/showthread.php?t=1500796
over this article in xperiablog ... BTW here is a quote from bkh about this comparison :
"They saved some screenshots on the T and Z just after 8.00 am. Then they edited those screenshots (increased the brightness) to make them look washed out. Then, they reloaded those modified screenshots on the devices just after 12.00 noon and took a photo of them next to a V, which actually is displaying its homescreen.
Interestingly, notice the T and Z are not displaying the five little circles that indicate which screen you are on."

^^ Wow! You have really good eyes! Hope your analysis will clear up the misconception many people have about Xperia Z's screen.

Aptina and Sony cross-license their camera patents
Aptina's newly signed patent cross-licensing agreement with Sony as an example: the pact lets the two imaging veterans use each other's know-how in camera sensors for everything from dedicated cameras through to smartphones and TVs.
