What firmware from davinci is everyone using? I keep seeing people saying they use customized america but there is so many I do not want to use the incorrect one.

Bugs that aren't on the main list:

- Always after turning the phone on and off, it sets the default flash theme with the moving ribbon.

- Sometimes, when connected to the HBH-890, when I press play on the handsfree or in Media player, I get a poup window saying "Failed". Playing music works only after I turn the phone off/on.

- Battery time seems to be much worse now, coming from the first firmware.

- Sometimes when watching pictures in Media Player, the transition effect will fail and I will see the pictures at 4/5 of the screen, without animation when changing pictures. The auto-rotate still works. The only way to get rid of the bug is to turn the phone off/on.

- While playing music (bluetooth to HBH-890) the phone works horribly slow. (3 GB of music on a 4GB M2). Not talking about Java apps, but only going through the menu.

- Numerous resets.

- Photomate won't run, after it loads it says "Application uses too much memory". This is the same since the first firmware. It happens like this after I downloaded all the modules


Feature:

- Press the end call button twice to close a Java app. With the old firmware, you needed to press it once, then select "End application". Now the second press on the "end call" will close it.


Is someone else having these problems?

This is a nice theme actually. Very vibrant. Any chance you could figure out the code to use the icons from Laser Precision? The SE Icons are huge and look cluttered to me.

Just an idea anyways.

a tip to you guys who have problems. go to your local work shop and dpy-flash to 037 with EMMA..(only way to downgrade your software), and then just wait to the the real R1CAXXX unbranded k850 firmware comes.

Well I just upgarded to 031 and its not much different than 038 in most respects, except the battery life is closer to 037. I have not tested the camera yet which was the main reason I upgraded, but response and speed difference is negligeble. Java apps are faster however. I know this has been said before but most people upgraded from 037 so I wanted to post my take on the new fw. Oh yeah, sounds is much clearer as well.

I flashed with davinci and from what I understand SEUS does a partial flash not a complete overwrite as davinci does. This may be the source of some of the problems.

(1) No reversions
(2) Nope
(3) Have not had one yet
(4) This has been a problem in all FWs

so, im not the only only one with the "blue ring of death"??

i called SE service center and they said we have to ship it back to get it fixed... but the problem is i have to pay $100 since i got the phone overseas!!!

i hate having to pay for a problem they caused

anyone else have ideas?? anyway of fixing without having to ship it back?>
